Your right to opt out

This page explains your right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information and how to exercise it on RNKD, operated by D2r Internet Holdings, LLC. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and under other state privacy laws, you have the right to direct businesses not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising, analytics, and measurement cookies and similar technologies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under these laws.
What this applies to
In shortIdentifiers and browsing activity, not your application or your messages.
The categories of personal information that may be involved include online identifiers, internet or other electronic network activity such as the pages you view and your interactions, general location inferred from your IP address, and inferences drawn from that activity. This information may be disclosed to advertising networks, analytics providers, and similar partners through cookies and similar technologies.
Reviewer applications and contact messages are not sold or shared for advertising under any circumstances, and are not used to train machine learning models.
How to opt out

- Use our consent control. Open the control in the footer and turn off the Advertising and targeting and Analytics and performance categories, then save your choices. This sets an opt-out preference for this browser.
- Global Privacy Control. Where required by law, we honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser. If your browser sends it, those categories start switched off.
- By email. Send a request to [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”.
Authorized agents

You may use an authorised agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof that you gave them signed permission to act for you, and we may ask you to verify your own identity directly.
Limits of an opt-out
In shortIt follows the browser, not you.
Because we do not require accounts, opt-out choices made through cookies or the Global Privacy Control apply only to the specific browser or device on which you make them. If you use multiple browsers or devices, or clear your cookies, you will need to opt out again. Certain processing that is necessary to operate the Site, to provide security, or to comply with law is exempt and continues regardless of your opt-out.
Children

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
No discrimination
In shortOpting out changes nothing about what you can read.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights, including by denying you access to the Site or providing a different level of service. Every review on RNKD is readable with all non-essential cookies switched off.
