4 of 5 WOULD RECOMMEND Finished · Spoiler-free

Quiet, short, and it stayed with me for a week.

A woman returns to her family's orchard to sell it and doesn't. That's the plot, and it's enough. Marchetti writes weather better than anyone I've read this year. Four stars; I'd have liked ten more pages of the brother.
